Hipmunk Adds Free Fare Alerts to Its Flight Search [Travel]

Hipmunk, one of our favorite travel booking tools, just got even better. The site now offers free fare alerts: Search for a flight, submit your email, and get notified as soon as cheap airfare is available.

When searching for a cheap flight on Hipmunk, you'll now get a Fare Alert subscription option. It's totally optional and can be triggered also from the "Watch Fare" button on the top left of the Hipmunk site.

Hipmunk has always been great at visually presenting the most important flight info you need and taking the agony out of searching for a flight. With this update, it now is even more competitive with sites like Kayak and FareCompare. Good news for all travelers!
