??????????????????????????????????-

The time really flew quickly. It?s almost the end of February. And 3.11, the day the Great East Japan Earthquake hit Japan, will be coming in 2?weeks.

One year ago, the Japanese people lived in the society before the earthquake. At that time, we thought differently, pursue different lifestyle, and had a different point of views. The earthquake has affected our behavior and way of?thinking.

By the earthquake, we experienced the great loss of people and town. We also face the tragedy of the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant. Because of huge damages, which also uncovered facts hid by the government, bureaucrats, corporations, scholars, and mass media, we had, for example, huge anxiety to our future, strong will to think over our society?s mode and lifestyle, empathy to feel other?s sorrow and pain, and resentment to injustice or unreasonable?things.

It has been 1 year. We still keep these thoughts and emotion in ourselves, but they seem to occupy less than before. Is it difficult to keep something we felt or thought 1 year ago, even though we got such huge?damages?

The earthquake damaged the Tohoku area badly, and the reconstruction of the damaged area is the highest priority. The earthquake also forced us to rethink our society's future. How far have we tackled the issue: from political turmoil to slow implementation of reconstruction projects, problems of the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant and radioactive contamination to corruption between the government, bureaucrats, corporations, scholars, and mass?media?

On 17 March last year, Egyptian cartoonist Amr Okasha posted his cartoon to the Cartoon Movement website, which has a lot of political cartoons and provides cartoons to the NI?magazine.

?Supporting Japan? by Amr Okasha
Japan is facing crisis upon crisis, and can use the support of the?world.

When I see this cartoon, I really appreciate warm supports from around the world, and I remember that Japan's reconstruction is not only our hope and interest, but it is also those of people around the?world.

How Makes Golf Clubs Different?

Golf clubs look identical to people who do not know how to play the game. Each club is made from a long shaft with a club head and grip. Club head shapes determine how far and at what angle the ball will be propelled. With practice, a golf player will intuitively select the right club for each shot.

Most sets of golf clubs contain fourteen clubs, three or four of which are calledwoods, one putter, one to three wedges and as many as eight irons. Along with knowing the difference between the types of clubs, a player needs to understand the numbing system that is used to mark the club heads. The number is a measurement of the the loft, or how sharply upward that the ball is projected away from the ground. As the numbers get larger, the club will send the ball for a shorter distance and at a higher angle.

The majority of the varieties of golf clubs will propel golf balls into the air as well as forward. The most commonly used club is known as a putter. This club head propels the ball on the grass. The primary differences between putters is the length of the shaft, generally slightly less than three feet long. The club heads on putters are either blades or mallets with flat bottoms.

Woods are the clubs with the greatest ability to propel the ball. An experienced player can hit the ball at least two hundred feet. While the clubs originally were made with hickory or persimmon wood heads, modern woods are made with steel or alloy metals. Newer woods may even be made from carbon fiber or hollow titanium. These heads are round with flat bottoms, making it easy to move the ball nearly parallel to the grass. Woods have the lowest loft of the varieties of clubs. The low loft and flat bottom make it the best choice for shooting the ball a long distance. A 1-wood has the lowest loft and is able to propel more than any otherwoods, giving it the name of driver. When golfing on a tee or in the fairway, a wood with a higher number is appropriate.

Like the woods, an iron was originally made from the substance it was made from. However, todays irons are made from steel, a much stronger metal. Irons have a medium loft. Using an iron is a good choice for distances under 200 feet. 1-iron and 2-iron are harder for inexperienced players to use, so are not generally included in a standard selection of golf clubs. Most sets will have irons starting with 3 and go as high as 9, with higher lofts and less distance.

Wedge clubs are primarily used for propelling the ball upwards rather than forward. They have an unusually high loft, making them the best club for moving the ball out of sand or grass. They generally do not move the ball more than one hundred and ten to one hundred and thirty feet forward, making them inefficient for moving very far. A standard golf set includes the pitching wedge, a club that has a 46 to 51 degree loft. Lob wedges have a slightly higher loft and gap wedges have the highest loft at as much as 64 degrees.

Centuries ago, there was no standardization to golf clubs, but the United States Golf Association (USGA) and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A) now have strictly regulated requirements for golf clubs. As styles and newer materials are introduced, rules may be adapted in order to keep competition fair. Guidelines for which clubs are allowed change as newer materials become available for golf club construction. Always make sure to check the latest rules before purchasing a nonstandard set of golf clubs(or other kinds of golf accessories) if they are going to be used in any type of competition.

Taylor Swift Invites New Jersey Teen To ACM Awards

Country superstar declines Kevin McGuire's prom invitation on Facebook — but she has a better idea.

Taylor Swift has asked a fan to be her date to an awards show, and it all started on Facebook.

Less than 24 hours after the sister of a leukemia-stricken New Jersey teen made a plea to the country star in an online video, Swift responded via her official Facebook page.

"Kevin, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom," she wrote. "But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up... Would you be my date?"

Swift's camp confirmed to MTV News that the Facebook post is legit.

Kevin McGuire, an 18-year-old high school football star, has his sister to thank for the invitation. Looking for ways to support her brother as he underwent treatment for a relapse of the disease he was diagnosed with five years ago, Tori McGuire set up the "Taylor Swift Take Kevin McGuire to Prom!" Facebook page, which had nearly 100,000 followers at press time. The Twitter hashtag #TeamKevin had gotten the attention of a number of celebrities, including Perez Hilton, Travie McCoy, Michael Vick and Troy Aikman.

"All throughout Kevin's treatment he kept his character intact, remained playing basketball, and even started varsity football as a freshman," she wrote on the Facebook page. "Kevin is known throughout the community as the High school's 'real life SUPER MAN!' Tragically, Kevin had a relapse, and is now fighting cancer for the second time. Kevin is the kindest, most noble 18 year old a person could even fathom meeting, and throughout his ups and downs Kevin never even questioned 'why me?' Nothing, and I mean NOTHING brightens Kevin's day more than Taylor Swift. Kevin DESERVES more than anyone a special event in his life."

Comments quickly flooded Swift's post and new remarks appeared on McGuire's Facebook page as well.

"Congrats! The ACMs are way better than the prom!" wrote Connie Spross, a supporter.

The 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards are scheduled to take place Sunday, April 1, in Nashville. Swift is nominated for several awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year.

What do you think of Taylor's response to Kevin? Let us know in the comments!

Ala. judge acquits man accused in honeymoon death

(AP) ? A man who spent 18 months in an Australian jail for the drowning death of his wife during a diving trip in that country was acquitted of murder in Alabama on Thursday. A judge ended the trial with his acquittal ruling before the defense had even presented its case, saying prosecutors lacked evidence to prove Gabe Watson intentionally killed his wife.

Prosecutor Don Valeska, head of the violent crimes division for the state attorney general's office, said he never before had a trial end in a judge's acquittal in 41 years of trying cases, though that does sometimes happen, legal experts say.

Watson, 34, had faced life in prison without parole if convicted of murdering his wife of 11 days, 26-year-old Tina Thomas Watson, in 2003. The couple was diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Watson pleaded guilty in Australia to a manslaughter charge involving negligence.

Circuit Judge Tommy Nail agreed with defense arguments that prosecutors failed to show Watson drowned her for insurance money. The only eyewitness testified he thought Watson was trying to save the woman.

The state's evidence was "sorely lacking" and did not prove Watson had any financial motive. Jurors never got to deliberate.

"I don't think anyone knows for sure what happened in the water down there," said Nail, who repeatedly clashed with prosecutors during both the trial and earlier hearings.

Defense attorneys had argued that Watson didn't stand to gain anything monetarily because Tina Watson's father was the beneficiary of her life insurance policy. They contended her death was an accident.

Gabe Watson's father, David, hugged his son in the courtroom after the judge made his ruling. He said every court that had looked at the case determined Gabe did not intentionally kill his wife.

"I'm just so relieved. Hopefully he can put his life back together," David Watson said.

"I hope everyone can begin to heal. The rest of his life will determine his legacy. Gabe is a good kid."

Gabe Watson left the courtroom hand-in-hand with his second wife without commenting to reporters.

Tina Watson's father, Tommy Thomas, had testified earlier in the day. He described how his family's grief and shock over Tina Watson's death turned to suspicion of Gabe Watson.

Valeska, the prosecutor, walked with his arm around Tommy Thomas, who appeared to be in shock and stunned by the judge's decision.

"It should have gone to the jury for them to decide," Thomas said of the judge's decision.

Thomas had testified earlier that shortly after the death, his wife, Cindy, was worried about Gabe Watson's condition. However, evidence showed relations between Watson and his wife's family frayed quickly as the Thomases began having doubts about what happened and Gabe Watson began asking for Tina Watson's belongings.

Gabe Watson's father called to tell them about the woman's death more than 15 hours after she drowned, Thomas said, and Tina Watson's family never heard from Gabe Watson until they attempted to contact him through the U.S. consulate in Australia.

Thomas said that in a phone call from Australia, Watson claimed his wife gave him a thumbs up underwater, indicating she wanted to go back to the surface. Watson said he was leading her back to a rope when she panicked, knocked off his mask and air hose, and began sinking, according to Thomas.

But during a later talk at a lawyer's office, Thomas said, Watson changed his story and said the woman indicated she wanted to go back to the rope leading to the top rather than go directly to the surface. Staring directly at Watson from the witness stand, Thomas said he asked his former son-in-law at that time: "When Tina gave him the thumbs up sign to go to the surface, why didn't he just take her to the surface?"

The judge blocked Thomas from testifying about Watson's alleged desire to increase the woman's life insurance policy, a blow for prosecutors who earlier had been barred from presenting other evidence about Watson's actions after the death.

Montre Carodine, a law professor at the University of Alabama, said the judge's decision to end the trial without the defense even presenting evidence was a "serious indictment" of the prosecution's case, particularly considering it was a capital trial.

"It means the evidence was weak," she said.

(AP) ? A prosecutor is preparing to file charges against a 9-year-old boy who brought a gun to a Washington state elementary school, wounding a young classmate when the gun accidentally went off.

The third-grader got the weapon, a .45-caliber handgun, from his mother's house, authorities said.

The boy was due in court for a preliminary hearing Thursday afternoon, nearly 24 hours after emergency crews responded to the school shooting.

Todd Dowell of the Kitsap county prosecutor's juvenile division said under state law children between 8 and 12 years old can face charges, if a court determines the child has the capacity to understand an act is wrong.

The boy's classmate, 8-year-old Amina Kocer-Bowman, remained in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after undergoing surgery for a gunshot wound.

Authorities say the boy brought a gun to Armin Jahr Elementary, where it discharged from his backpack, piercing through and hitting Kocer-Bowman in the abdomen and arm. On Wednesday, Bremerton police characterized the shooting as accidental.

The boy was being investigated for unlawful possession of a gun, bringing a dangerous weapon to school and third-degree assault charges. Authorities believe he came into possession of the weapon during a visitation with his mother over the weekend, according to charging documents released Thursday.

Twenty-seven states have some form of firearm child access prevention laws. Such laws can include criminal penalties for adults who allow children to get their hands on guns, but Washington is not one of those states, according to the San Francisco-based Legal Community Against Violence.

Gail Hammer, a law professor at Gonzaga University in Spokane, said it is very rare for a child as young as 9 to be charged with a crime. Even if a young child is convicted, they wouldn't be sent to an adult prison, Hammer said

"Generally with young children they try to deal with it in the juvenile system," she said.

There have been shootings at schools that involved younger children. In 2000, 6-year-old Kayla Rolland, a Michigan first-grader, was fatally shot by a 6-year-old classmate who brought a gun from home. Last year, a 6-year-old kindergartner at a Houston elementary school accidentally fired a gun as he was showing it off to friends, injuring three students.

Bremerton Schools spokeswoman Patty Glaser said the school where Wednesday's shooting happened, with about 400 students, was open for classes Thursday with 10 counselors available to talk with teachers, students and parents.

She said the classroom where the shooting happened remains closed and that the students from that classroom have been moved.

The school is in a quiet residential neighborhood about 20 miles west of Seattle, across Puget Sound.

In the latest rating by the Brady Campaign, a national gun control advocacy group, Washington scored no points in the child safety category.

"Washington state is a loosely regulated state when it comes to firearms," said Gregory Roberts, executive director of Washington Cease Fire, a Brady Campaign affiliate.

Samsung HM1800

Like last year's Samsung HM3600?($59.99, 4 stars), the $39.99 Samsung HM1800 is?an inexpensive mono?Bluetooth headset with a small, minimalist design. It improves upon the HM3600 in a number of ways, but suffers from two of the same drawbacks. Poor noise cancellation and a lack of A2DP streaming mean that this headset is only useful if you plan to keep your calls indoors.

Design, Fit, and Pairing
The HM1800 measures 1.6 by .7 by .4 inches (HWD) and weighs .28 ounces, placing it among the tiniest Bluetooth headsets we've tested. Made entirely of plastic, with a black body and dark gray front panel, it looks unobtrusive and classy. The top edge is home to a hardware power switch and LED indicator light. The back edge holds a covered microUSB charger port, while the bottom edge features two volume control buttons. The front panel contains the headset's multi-function Talk button.

The headset features an on-ear design, which means the rubber ear tip rests on your ear rather than in your ear canal.?It comes with two identical, detachable plastic ear hooks, along with three different rubber tips. One of those tips is meant to be worn in conjunction with an ear hook, while the other two allow you to use the HM1800 without a hook. Of these, I found the hook to be the most comfortable, secure option. One of the standalone rubber tips fit my ear more comfortably than the other, but neither made the headset feel completely secure. Using the hook felt safer, and because the headset is so light, it barely felt like it was even there.

The HM1800 is automatically set to pairing mode the first time you turn it on. For subsequent pairings, just hold down the Talk button for three seconds until a voice prompt says "Ready to pair." The HM1800's uses a voice prompt-based interface that provides battery and connection status updates, along with usage instructions. I found it helpful, but you can turn it off if you'd like.

Voice Quality, Noise Suppression, and Conclusions
The HM1800 is a multipoint headset, so you can pair it with two devices simultaneously. For this review I paired it with an Apple iPhone 4S?($199.99, 4 stars) as well as a Samsung Galaxy Nexus?($299.99, 4 stars). I had no trouble pairing the headset to either phone or initiating voice dialing. Battery life is good, too, at 7 hours and 36 minutes of talk time. According to Samsung, the headset should last for over twelve days on standby. Given its small size, those numbers aren't too shabby.

Voice quality is mostly good, minus one key element: noise cancellation. Voices sound rich and full through the headset, if just a touch muddy. And calls placed with it are clear, if somewhat thin. Samsung doesn't specify what type of noise suppression technology the HM1800 employs, but calls placed outdoors were extremely difficult to hear, even when it wasn't that noisy. Lots of wind came through, along with plenty of ambient noise I barely even noticed while placing the call. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this headset if you mostly plan to use it while on the go.

Additionally, the Samsung HM1800 doesn't support A2DP, so you can't use it to listen to streaming media like apps, audiobooks, music, or podcasts, on your cell phone.

The Samsung HM1800 is small, inexpensive, and features mostly good call quality. The lack of A2DP is understandable at this price, but poor noise suppression holds this headset back. The Plantronics M50?($49.99, 3.5 stars) is another good budget option, as it adds A2DP streaming into the mix, though it too suffers from mediocre noise cancellation. The?Samsung HM6450?($99, 4 stars) is a better buy, thanks to its improved outdoor transmission quality. While it lists for $99, you can pick one up for less than $50 from numerous retailers. And if you need to be sure you can use your headset anywhere, the?pricey Jawbone Era?($129.99, 4.5 stars) is tops for noise suppression, along with the previous-generation Jawbone Icon?($99.99, 4 stars).?

Poll finds growing optimism on economy

By Martin Wolk

Americans are far more optimistic about the economy than they were just two months ago, according to poll results released Thursday.

The Pew Research Center poll found that 44 percent of those surveyed expect the economy to be in better shape a year from now, compared with only 28 percent who felt that way in December.

Only 10 percent expect the economy to worsen in the year ahead, compared with 18 percent who felt that way in December.

Improving economic data, including a sharp drop in the unemployment rate, may be having an impact. The survey found that 58 percent of those surveyed were aware of the improvement in the employment situation. The jobless rate has fallen from 9 percent in September to 8.3 percent last month as the economy has added more than 700,000 jobs.

Optimism can prove fragile, Pew officials note. Only 25 percent of those surveyed believe the economy is already recovering, while 44 percent said "it will be a long time before the economy recovers." That was a modest improvement from when the questions was asked in April and 20 percent said the economy was recovering, while 54 percent said recovery was still a long way off.

Euro countries voice doubts over Greek bailout (AP)

BRUSSELS ? Some eurozone countries have strong doubts over whether a second massive bailout can actually save Greece, officials said Wednesday, even as Athens rushed to meet tough conditions to qualify for the euro130 billion ($170 billion) rescue.

The wrangling over Athens' aid money comes after almost two years of frantic efforts to save Greece from bankruptcy and secure its place in the 17-country currency union.

But circumstances have changed since the eurozone agreed on a first euro110 billion rescue for Greece in May 2010.

Several politicians ? especially in rich euro countries like Germany, the Netherlands and Finland ? have grown tired of Greece repeatedly missing budget targets and failing to implement promised cuts, reforms and sales of state assets. The measures that have been put into practice, meanwhile, have pushed the country into steep recession, with its economy shrinking 7 percent in the final quarter of 2011 from a year earlier.

At the same time, some policymakers are optimistic that the eurozone is now strong enough to handle a default by Greece, which is one of the smallest economies in the currency union, responsible for only about 2 percent of its economic output. Other lawmakers, however, are concerned that the shockwaves of a disorderly Greek default would be felt across the rest of Europe and the world's financial markets.

"There are many in the eurozone who don't want us any more," Greece's Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos told the country's president, Karolos Papoulias, during a meeting to inform him of the latest developments. Greece, Venizelos added, had to persuade the skeptics that the country could stay in the currency union and regain lost ground in reforming its economy.

"We are facing a situation that is particular because we are constantly being given new terms and conditions," the finance minister said.

Venizelos' negative assessment was backed by an official in Brussels.

"There is resentments, mistrust, really bitter debate," said a European official, who has been briefed on recent talks between eurozone finance chiefs. The official was speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the topic.

In Berlin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman, Steffen Seibert, sharply rejected a question about market rumors that Germany has decided a Greek bankruptcy is acceptable.

"I can say very clearly for the German government that these rumors are wrong ? there is no such decision by Germany," he said, adding that Germany is working with others in Europe to find "a practicable way out of the crisis for Greece" with the second rescue package and a bond swap with private creditors that seeks to cut Greece's debt by about euro100 billion ($130.92 billion).

However, tensions between Athens and its creditors remain. A meeting between eurozone finance ministers planned for Wednesday was canceled Tuesday night after Athens failed to deliver in time on demands made the previous week. Eurogroup chairman Jean-Claude Juncker said he was still missing details on how to save an extra euro325 million ($428 million) as well as written assurances by main political party leaders that they will stick to a second bailout program after elections expected for April. The ministers will hold a conference call Wednesday evening instead, and meet on Monday.

Officials said the euro325 million ($428 million) should be secured by the end of the day. On the written assurances, Socialist party head George Papandreou sent his letter Tuesday night, officials said. Conservative party leader Antonis Samaras sent his Wednesday.

"We will remain committed to the program's objectives, targets and key policies," wrote Samaras, whose party is most likely to win elections expected in April. However, he said policies might have to be modified in order to help the economy recover from the deep recession it is currently in, although he underlined these would not change the ultimate targets in reforming the economy.

But the European official briefed on recent talks said even those assurances may not be enough.

"People don't trust the Greeks and that is the main element," he said.

Adding to that are concerns that the upcoming election campaign will forcibly slow down or hinder implementation.

At their most recent get-together last week, finance chiefs lashed out at their Greek colleague, with Finland's Finance Minister Jutta Urpilainen chewing Venizelos out in front of the cameras over a documents she said still had not been signed.

The perceived humiliation of Greece and the hardship brought on by four years of recession have often sparked violent protests in Athens and other Greek cities as well as growing resentment against Germany and the EU, which seen as imposing unnecessarily painful cuts.

On Wednesday, a woman identified as an engineer in her 30s working for the Workers' Housing Organization, one of the public bodies to be closed, stood on a window ledge of the office building and threatened to jump.

"We have a huge problem here," said Harris Gouvropoulos, a workers' representative on the board of the organization that helps workers on low salaries obtain housing. "They have not understood the extent of the problems they have created by shutting down this organization."

After more than four hours, negotiators talked the woman off the window ledge.

Politicians in Athens and Brussels have warned about the negative consequences of a default.

"We do not have a choice between a pleasant or unpleasant option ? but a choice that is between either unpleasant or even more unpleasant solutions," Venizelos said.

But there are still doubts as to whether the bailout will work.

When eurozone leaders tentatively agreed on more aid last October, they pinned down key parameters: By 2020, Greece's debt has to decline to 120 percent of economic output ? the maximum they said was sustainable ? from more than 160 percent currently.

But even with the bailout and the bond swap, the 2020 target could still be missed. Last month, an EU official said a gap of some euro15 billion ($19.6 billion) remained. There are hopes that the European Central Bank, which also holds a substantial amount of Greek bonds, can help fill that gap, but so far the ECB has remained vague on whether and how it would do so.

From ASCO - Advanced Prostate Cancer

Abstract No:101 at the recent ASCO Conference

It is sad, but it is true, a subset of men presenting with advanced prostate cancer never receive proper therapy. This can be attributed to a variety of factors including poor functional status, co-morbidities, and patient preference.

The researchers sought to determine the prevalence, and characteristics, of this untreated patient population.

They used The National Cancer Database (NCDB) to identify men diagnosed with stage IV prostate cancer between 2000 and 2008. Men who received no anticancer therapy (including chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, radiation, and surgery) were identified and were further categorized by age, race, insurance status, and income. For these subcategories, prevalence ratios were generated using the proportion of untreated metastatic prostate cancer (uMPC) to metastatic prostate cancer (MPC).

They found that out of the 1,201,732 men with prostate cancer diagnosed between 2000-2008, 59,074 (4.9%) had metastatic prostate cancer MPC at diagnosis. Of those men presenting with MPC, a shocking 6,582 (11.1%) received no anticancer therapy of any sort. With every 10-year increase in age, the prevalence of uMPC increased 43% (PR=1.43; p

Men with Medicaid were 57% more likely to be untreated, men with Medicare were 82% more likely to be untreated, and uninsured men were 96% more likely to be untreated than those men with private insurance (p

The researchers concluded that a large subset of men presenting with MPC never receive anticancer therapy. While tumor biology likely plays a role with regard to rapid disease onset and progression, these data suggest that age, racial and socioeconomic disparities exist in the treatment of MPC.

Liam Hemsworth Addresses Miley Cyrus' Marijuana Controversy (omg!)

Liam Hemsworth Addresses Miley Cyrus' Marijuana Controversy

When Liam Hemsworth auditioned for The Last Song in 2009, he had no idea what to expect.

"I just had an audition with Miley Cyrus!" he recalls telling his older brother Chris, also an actor, in the March issue of Details. "How funny is that?"

PHOTOS: Miley Cyrus' wildest moments so far

Hemsworth, now 22, eventually got the part -- and the film's leading lady.

"What happened happened, and we've been together two and a half years," Hemsworth says. "She makes me really happy. When you start, you want to be professional, but when you're filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you're not human if you don't feel something."

PHOTOS: Costars who fell in love

When filming wrapped, The Hunger Games star went back to Nashville with Cyrus and her famous family. "[Billy Ray] is very spiritual," Hemsworth says. "He's just one of the nicest guys. Very accommodating. I've listened to his music since we got together. It's awesome."

The Southern family also introduced him to Cracker Barrel. "I'd never heard of country-fried steak before. It's great!" Hemsworth raves. "I love fried food."

Not every aspect of Hemsworth's relationship is so picture-perfect. When Cyrus joked that she "smokes way too much f-cking weed" at her 19th birthday, the video went viral -- and Hemsworth became livid.

PHOTO: Celebrity pot smokers

"She's in a room full of her best friends," the actor tells Details. "And you have one person who comes in there and videos it. The poor girl can't have one night where she can feel safe in her own world. It's ridiculous."

Car Loans and Bad Credit Car Financing | Auto Loans Finance

More and more people need vehicles, and car loans and bad credit car financing are some of the most searched topics today. Here is a short review on what both loans offer to consumers.

About car loans

Car loans or auto loans are financing means given to qualified loan applicants. Applying for the loan entails submitting identification papers, proof of income, credit rating and application form.

Companies typically grant loans to people with acceptable credit rating, a reliable financial history and a permanent job. Lending firms set these criteria to ensure that they will get all due payments on time. Payments made to these firms are in turn necessary so they can pay their employees, taxes and utilities.

In this setup, the applicant has control over vehicle choice. The person may choose any model from an SUV to a compact or everything else in between. The individual's good credit rating and financial background allow this since loan company trusts that he or she can meet the required payments.

Bad credit car financing

Bad credit car financing is another vehicle loan type primarily targeting people with bad credit. This includes people who have gone through bankruptcy and those still dealing with bad debts. People who have a long history of bad debts may also apply for the loan.

The loan company, in this setup, might scrutinize their applicants' vehicle choice. Some firms are cautious about this part since they already know the applicant's payment history. Choices such as SUVs and other expensive car models are not encouraged. Many end up disapproving applications due in part to vehicle choice.

Practicality and other issues

Many people ask which option is more practical since both give financing options anyway. The answer relies on a person's specific situation. Auto loan is the ideal option if you have a good credit history and your score is at or above median. A bad credit loan is necessary if you have a less desirable financial background and your credit score suffered from it.

Interest rate is another point to consider. Bad credit financing applicants might incur higher interest rates compared to their counterparts. This happens because prospective lenders view them as financial risks. Offering a car worth $5,000, for example, to a person with bad credit score and long history of due debts entails a big risk since the lending firm might not get their due payment at the end.

Down payment is also another essential matter. Individuals with acceptable ratings can pay lower amounts compared to people with lower scores. Again, this has to do with the risk the lending firm takes on.

Loan availability also comes into play. Many financial companies make their packages highly available only to those with reliable or good scores. People with below median ratings, on the other hand, need to be more alert and diligent in their search for lending firms.

Make sure you are prepared whether you will choose a car loan or a bad credit auto financing. Study vehicle affordability, performance efficiency and fuel consumption. Check your monthly expenses for food, utilities, and emergency to know exactly how much you can spend for a new car. Examine loan company backgrounds, too, before handing out applications to protect your financial privacy.
